Downloadable Brainworks
'brain.exe' Test Option:
Again, this option is best for older operating systems like Windows XP, but will not work with newer 64-bit
systems.
Click and open the file
linked below to run the program, or save it to
your computer if you like and then open it.
After opening the test file
(brain.exe), follow the directions and complete the test.
After completing the test,
the program will show you a diagram of the left and right hemispheres of
the brain and indicate your left - right preference, as well as your
auditory - visual preference. Be sure to write down your percentage
scores for each.
Click the 'Personal
Evaluation' box to read a detailed description of your brain style and how
it affects your daily life. Keep in mind, this is usually a two page document and you will likely need to click the
"next" box to read the second page of your analysis.
It is strongly recommended
that you print both pages of your 'Personal Evaluation' for future
reference in completing the lab write-up questions below.
Optional But Very
Interesting:
If you wish, you
can go back through each question of your test and the program will explain
what your answer to each question means and what the alternative answers
mean as well.
